In response to popular demand (!?!) supporters of St Mary’s Church are holding a Christmas Market in Morcott Village Hall on the afternoon of Sunday 5 December. The fun starts at 2pm and will end about 4pm. Entry on the door is £1.
This has been planned at relatively short notice and is a ‘mini-market’ rather than the large scale event held in 2009. Nonetheless you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie and you’ll find a bring-and-buy-table groaning with home-made goodies: jams, marmalade, chutneys and the like; cakes and bakes; plants that will make great Christmas presents and crafts and up-cycled gifts perfect for these recessionary times!
We’ll be joined by two or three other stalls – details still being arranged. Do come. What better way to spend a dark, dank December afternoon? And it’s all in aid of Church funds. Any questions – do contact the Churchwarden by phone or leave a comment/query here on the website.
