Update from Morcott Parish Council

News about Morcott Village Plan Sub-Committee

At the public meeting held on 22 February to discuss the Village Plan, a number of people expressed an interest in helping the Parish Council compile a Village Plan and formulate responses to Rutland County Council’s planning policy.

As a result, interested parties were invited to attend an initial meeting and form a committee to be known as the Morcott Village Plan Sub-Committee, with the general remit of gathering information and reporting to the Parish Council.

Following that meeting the committee was formed from the following members Marilyn Clayton (chairman), Tricia Jones (Secretary) Jane Lucas (Assistant Secretary) Michael Blank, Martin Whitfield, Mike Willis, Jean Earnshaw, Maureen Allan, Graham Baker and Andrew Leech together with two nominated representatives of the Parish Council David Joyce and Andrew Towell.

The Sub-committee meets in the Village Hall and dates and times of the meetings will be publicised so that members of the public may attend.

Minutes of the meetings will be posted on the village notice board.
