Christmas in Morcott

Morcott is a busy village at Christmas!

This Saturday 17th December it’s Strictly Come Carol Singing around Morcott. All villagers are invited to meet at the usual place (msg the webmaster or phone a friend if you’re not sure where that is) at 6pm for mulled wine and a mince pie. At about 6.30pm Father Christmas will set off on his special sleigh to do a full circuit of the village, followed by all the carol singers.

On Sunday 18th December, our Carols around the Crib church service starts at 11am at St Mary’s. This is a family-friendly service led by the Rev Geoff Angell, during which the empty Crib will be filled with the figures brought up by the children. Do stay for refreshments after.

On Christmas Eve, Saturday 24 December at 10PM (note the time), a traditional Midnight Mass with Holy Communion will be held. All welcome at 10pm.
