Free Bus to Peterborough for Christmas Shopping

Rutland County Council is providing a Peterborough Christmas shoppiig trip by bus (from Uppingham) on Tuesday 11 December, which will pick up and drop off in Morcott.

Pick up is 09.59hrs on Morcott High Street opposite the Bus Shelter. It picks up in a couple of other villages and arrives in Peterborough’s Queensgate Bus Station at 10.37hrs.

The return journey departs Queensgate Bus Station at 14.00hrs (2pm) and drops back into Morcott at 14.34hrs (2.34pm), again at or opposite Morcott’s Bus Shelter.

This free service is available to anyone – you do not have to hold a free bus pass.  The service is operated by Mark Bland Travel, and paid for by Rutland County Council. Full details can be found on RCC’s website.  A great idea, and a greener way to shop!
