Mobile Advice Van in Morcott

First Contact Mobile Rutland is a roaming Advice Bus which will call in Morcott on Wednesday 16 October between 3pm and 4pm.

It will park on the High Street outside the Church.

On-board experts can provide free advice on home security, independent living, money and benefits, consumer rights, avoiding falls, health and staying safe… among key topics.

This is an initiative from Rutland Community Spirit and Rutland Volunteer Centre, in partnership with Rutland County Council, Age UK, Trading Standards Institute, the Police and Spire Homes.

Some of the advice is particularly relevant to older residents, who may not have access to the internet. Posters are being put up in the village, but please spread the word, especially if you have elderly neighbours who may benefit from this free service, but who do not have access to this website.
