Burglary in Morcott

As people in the Neighbourhood Watch email group will know, a property on Morcott’s High Street was burgled on Saturday, between the hours of 1.40pm and 11pm, when a side window was forced, entry gained and items stolen.

If anyone saw anything suspicious on Saturday, please contact the police on 101.

If Rutland villages are being targeted by thieves, it cannot hurt to jot down or memorise the registration number of any vehicle that you do not recognise and that seems to be hanging around the village.

If you are not in the Neighbourhood Watch loop, but would like to be, please contact co-ordinator Susan Awcock on 747 360.
