Rutland County Council is seeking views from Villagers on a Conservation Area Appraisal for Morcott. It is intended to define those elements that contribute to Morcott’s special character and appearance and which justify its designation as a conservation area.
This is part of a programme of activity identified in the Local Plan to protect and enhance historic assets. If adopted, the report will have the status of Supplementary Planning Guidance and will be taken into account when determining planning applications.
Here is the CONSULTATION DOCUMENT in pdf form. Note before you hit the print button that it is 35 pages long.
