The Cheese Man – a fun night out in Morcott

Cheeseman characterThursday 30 April at 7.30pm, in the Village Hall… ‘The Cheese Man’ amuses and informs on his favourite topic.

Then comes the tasting. A glass of wine is included in your ticket price and some nibbles will also be provided.

Ian Rogerson discovered Stilton when he moved to Leicestershire and became a convert to all things cheesy.  Ian has led a colourful life, and his entertaining tales are woven into an informative talk about the cheeses he will lay out on his ‘stall’. He may even burst into song at some point, since his other love is opera!

Tickets are ready now – £10 each includes the talk, the tasting, and one glass of wine.  Available from Jane Williams on 747 157 or email ejw.email (at) gmail (dot) com

We have a licensed bar for this event, so you can buy a second glass while you savour a stilton, linger over a limburger or caerphilly compare cheddars… Ian will also have some cheese available to buy (entirely optional).

Do join us for this entertaining and informative evening, which is raising funds to repair the Chancel wall in St Mary’s Church.
