10 private gardens in this pretty Rutland village will be open on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July, between 1-5pm on both afternoons.
From a tiny courtyard to an expansive plot, there is something to interest every gardener and most are open for the very first time.
As well as the gardens themselves, there are home-made Teas, a Plant Stall organised by Morcott’s Gardening Group and a garden-themed Book Stall.
Entry is £5 per person, with accompanied under 16s free.
The Village Hall is the centre of operations on both days. Please pay/sign in here, buy your plants and gorgeous home-made teas.
For visitors from outside the village, the Village Hall’s postcode for your SatNav is LE15 9DX. Parking is mainly along the High Street or on Willoughby Road.
St Mary’s Church in the centre of the village will also be open: Grade 1 Listed, it is a Norman gem and well worth a visit.
This is a fundraiser for the Church and Village Hall, which are both registered charities.
