Morcott Village Hall is a superb conversion of a charming former Baptist Chapel. It was founded in the 18th century and remodelled in 1902 in the Arts & Crafts style. Owned by the village since 1963 and maintained as a charitable trust, the Village Hall is available for general hire. It’s on your doorstep for:
- Birthday Parties & Family Celebrations
- Courses & Classes
- Drama, Music & Art Exhibitions
- Talks & Lectures by local societies
- Quiz Nights
- Pilates, Dance & Keep Fit
It is an attractive and versatile space with vaulted ceiling, pretty windows and a wooden floor. There’s seating for up to 65 or standing space for 120. Lighting can be low-key for atmospheric evenings or bright for tasks and activities.
The current rate for hiring the Village Hall is £12 per hour which includes heating and everything in the Village Hall. Alternatively, its furniture, glassware & crockery may be hired separately for a donation to Hall funds.
